The Job

Our client is looking for a Finance & HR Manager who will be part of the Operations team and will be responsible for the day-to-day Finance and HR functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Finance Function

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, Fixed Assets and GL
• Preparing budgets with full participation of all departments.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and ad hoc reports for management.
• Liaising with vendors and/or customers to address financial requests and queries and handle vendor payment and payment issues
• Liaising with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, bankers and Statutory Boards to ensure compliance with regulatory authority.
• Reviewing protection of business assets and administer appropriate insurance coverage.
• Performing timely and accurate general ledger data entry in accounting system
• Performing bank reconciliation of accounts on a weekly basis.
• Performing Month-end and Financial year-end closing activities (Balance Sheet Schedules)
• Preparing quarterly GST reports.
• Strengthening current internal control and process improvement.
• Implementing best practices in order to identify and manage all financial and business risks.
• Implementing and enforce finance policies and practices.

HR Function

• Responsible for local HR delivery and implementation across the employee life cycle (hire to retire).
• Managing HR operational functions including monthly payroll processing, leave, CPF and tax submissions.
• Driving HR strategy and provide advice to management team on related subjects to support organization growth.
• Developing and drive strategies for resource and career planning, talent development, compensation benefits and training development.
• Managing and communicate HR policies, procedures and manual to employees.

Ideal Candidate

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
• You have at least 4 years of accounting and HR experience.
• Experience with Xero, Infotech will be an added advantage.
• You have strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and HR principles and practices.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• You are independent, meticulous and responsible.
• You are a team player with high level of integrity.
• You have good written and verbal communication skills.
• You are responsible, motivated, analytical thinker & pro-active.
• You have excellent organization skills and be able to effectively prioritize and multitask.
