The Job

In this role, you will be reporting to the CTO, and will be responsible for : 

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using React for the frontend and Python for the backend
• Developing and maintaining the front-end and back-end components for clients across industries, including but not limited to Financial Services, HealthTech, EdTech, etc.
• Designing and implementing database schemas using PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Utilizing AWS services for hosting, deployment, and scaling of applications.
• Owning design, strategy, and software development quality of the team.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces and efficient database structures. 
• Research new technologies and tools to improve the products and processes.
• Exercising high ownership and initiative.

Ideal Candidate

• You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer or similar role, developing complex and highly scalable products.
• You are proficient in front-end technologies such as React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
• You have expertise in back-end technologies, ideally Python or other programming languages like Java / C++.
• You have hands-on experience working on PostgreSQL.
• Your knowledge or experience deploying on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
• You possess a start-up mindset and have the ability to take ownership and drive successful outcomes.
• You have excellent communication and collaborative skills to liaise with cross-border teams.
