The Job

You will be responsible for :

HR Support

  • Responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes, including employee on-boarding / off-boarding activities.
  • Assist to manage employees’ appraisal for annual increment and performance bonus including preparation of all HR related letters.
  • Support and manage employees’ relations and its communication process.
  • Process and submit government claims e.g. NS make-up pay, childcare, maternity, FWL waiver etc.
  • Application, renewal, and cancellation of foreign worker Work Passes.
  • Payroll administration and preparation of monthly payroll payouts and salary reports
  • Administer Company's medical & insurance matters.

Office Administration

  • Review and manage contracts/service agreement for office premise such as lease agreement, maintenance agreement, insurance renewals & etc.
  • Manage telephone enquiries, incoming and outgoing mails.
  • Monitor and purchase office supplies, stationery, and pantry items etc.
  • Provide secretarial support to President – travel arrangements, calendars, appointments scheduling, claim & etc.
  • Support events and festival celebrations execution.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Direct Superior.

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or its equivalent.
  • Diploma holders from the 5 national Polytechnics who have the right aptitude to people matters, is willing to learn on the job and understand the shipping industry.
  • Possess at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.
  • Meticulous and figures oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.

  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
