The Job

Key responsibilities areas:

 Recruitment/New Hire Process & General office administration

  • Design organization structure based on the business model, set up the office with essential resources, design and implement recruitment strategy, form department teams, and take the business from early-stage to the next level.
  • Manages talent acquisition process including sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding for the respective region and supports the region on the HR front to expand and grow.
  • Generating KPI matrix in line with organizational structure oriented towards monitoring productivity and supporting employment opportunities for professional development plans.
  • Cost-effective and super-efficient administration services for employees.
  • Centralization of admin activities and designing the way forward.

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Providing the necessary support systems for payroll and compensation strategy through market analysis and pay surveys.
  • Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick time are tracked in the system.
  • Participating in benefits tasks, such as claim resolutions, and reconciling benefits statements.

 Record Maintenance

  • Participate, Implement, and administer in developing organizational employee policies, guidelines, and procedures. Ensures all employment practices comply with all statutory obligations as per various acts and labor laws.
  • Maintaining current HR files and databases
  • Updating and maintaining employee payroll, benefits, employment status, and similar records
  • Maintaining records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained

Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies:

  • Experience in Early setup stage as Generalist role and progress into the specific regional role.
  • Outstanding organizational, time-management abilities, and strong ethics.
  • Should be a pleasing personality with strong communication & interpersonal skills and demonstrated effectiveness in written and verbal communication.
  • Attitude - Go, Getter, Proactive; Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of compensation strategy, performance management, employee relations, safety practices, and talent acquisition, and the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
