The Job

Key responsibilities areas:

 

  • Assist the Lead Manager to provide leadership and guidance in ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day communications and marketing.
  • Assist Lead Manager in achieving all the deliverables and KPIs.
  • Support Lead Manager in liaison work with the appointed consultants and related administrative work.
  • Provide support for all related trainings, liaison with vendors, and taking minutes for the sessions.
  • Keep abreast of the Lead project developments and work with consultants to ensure the project is on track.
  • Plan, design and support the Association's participation in regional and international activities and events to promote OBC. This includes publicity for both online and offline publication materials (e.g. bi-annual e-newsletter).
  • Recruit and retain members for the Association to promote wider adoption of the OBC concept.
  • Assist in Business Matching, Technology Missions and Seminars, and Social Networking Sessions or Events.
  • Oversee the publication of the Association’s directory (if any).
  • This role reports to the Lead Manager and LIAS Council.

 

Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies:

 

  • You have at least 2 year experience within a Event Management or Executive Assistant, ideally within the Professional Services/ Landscape/ Membership industry.
  • You are organised and have good interpersonal skills.
  • You have prior experience in working with multiple vendors.
  • You can work with minimal supervision and multi-task effectively.
  • You have good computer skills ( MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • You are a strong planner with excellent project management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience within would be a strong advantage.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
