The Job

We are seeking a dynamic Investment Analyst/Associate to join our team and contribute to growing our portfolio. This role requires a unique blend of analytical rigor and strong communication skills to identify, evaluate, and engage with high-potential investment opportunities.

As an Investment Analyst/Associate, you will play a critical role in sourcing and evaluating startups, building relationships with founders, and supporting the investment decision-making process. You will be responsible for outbound sourcing activities, leveraging platforms like LinkedIn and email, and attending industry events to identify promising opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Deal Sourcing: Proactively source investment opportunities through outbound efforts, including LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and networking.
•  Startup Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with startup founders and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on industries, markets, and trends to identify high-potential investment areas.
• Due Diligence: Support the investment team in evaluating startups, including financial analysis, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Event Participation: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to source deals and stay updated on market trends.
• Reporting: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports to support decision-making processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to refine sourcing strategies and contribute to the overall investment pipeline.

Ideal Candidate

• You have a degree in Finance, Business Administration or a similar area as well as at least 2 years of experience within consulting, investment banking, and/or a similar role in venture capital
• You possess strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial data, market trends, and business models.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with founders and stakeholders.
• You have a strong interest in new technologies and the startup ecosystem.
