The Job
Key responsibilities areas:
- Design, develop, and implement functionality testing for mobile applications (iOS/Android) using Appium.
- Integrate Appium with a cloud-based solution like BrowserStack.
- Debug failed test cases and follow up on bugs to closure.
- Write and maintain mobile app test cases using a test case management tool, such as TestRail to ensure test cases are in-step with app features.
- Communicate with stakeholders and create test reports for QA Lead
Ideal Candidate
Key Competencies:
- Fluent in Java.
- Professional experience with Appium, such as creating an Appium framework from scratch and maintaining it.
- Communicate effectively in English.
- Aware of QA automation framework design patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy working in a startup environment.
- Good to have knowledge on integrating automation tools with cloud-base solutions such as BrowserStack or Perfecto.
