The Job

This candidate will work in a start-up environment with plenty of learning opportunities. You will be working in supportive operation role with Singapore sales team and function across the region. This position will manage daily logistics operation, liaise with transport providers and handle documents verification for logistics as well as orders from other region for stocks replenish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to sales team. Liaise with APAC / US Team to raise orders and coordinate shipments in timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare delivery documents and partner with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Review export and import documentation and ensure shipment compliance to destination, regulatory and tax authority (Market: APAC, US, Europe)
  • Working with freight forwarders, courier teams to facilitate and ensure smooth shipment arrangement, release and deliveries.
  • Enter and modify sales-related data (i.e. customer backlog, ordering processing, cancellations and expedites) into our company's internal information system.
  • Perform inventory transaction in ERP system if required. Administrate return requests (RMA) and working with the warehouse and accounting to address incorrect shipments and billings as and when needed.
  • Proactively communicate, explore new ideas for continuous improvement on the operational processes.
  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by Management

 

Ideal Candidate

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent with 2-3 years logistics experience in Distribution Channel handling Electronics components / connectors will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cross-border logistics handling including customer clearance and import / export.
  • High attention to details and able to work effectively under pressure to meet tight timeline and working demand.
  • Able to apply creative problem-solving techniques to situations using sound business judgment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision.
  • Able to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin verbal and written communication skills.
