The Job

The purpose of this role is to verify potential employers signing up on Snaphunt as well as the quality of roles they publish so as to ensure that Snaphunt's talent pool accesses job opportunities from legitimate companies with fair & compliant hiring practices. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing all new employers that sign up on Snaphunt and conduct checks to verify their legitimacy & grant access to the platform
  • Sending emails to employers that fail verifications and request additional information where required.
  • Reviewing all newly posted jobs and ensure these are in compliance with local regulations before publishing them on the platform
  • Monitoring employer activity and block employers whose activity is not in line with Snaphunt Terms
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in the business to identify, assess and mitigate operational risks.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and suggesting improvements.
  • Ensuring risks, controls, and procedures are documented appropriately.
  • Proactively identifying current/potential issues and ensuring these are appropriately escalated so that appropriate remedial actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • Conducting training on compliance matters to raise compliance awareness across the organization.

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

  • You have at least 3 years experience within customer service/operations/ risk/fraud investigation/risk control or related role, ideally within a high growth startup in the ecommerce/ or related area
  • You possess excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to be able to assess and take decisions on each situation keeping in mind company guidelines and best practices
  • You possess excellent communication and business partnering skills and can collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • You are a natural problem solver, who displays a strong sense of ownership for the quality of your work and can thrive in a remote environment.
