The Job
As a Sourcing Assistant, you will play a role in supporting the procurement team in running tenders, reviewing and negotiating contracts, sourcing goods and services, and managing vendor relationships. This role requires strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor management skills to ensure the company secures the best value while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the tender process, including developing tender documents and evaluating bids.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Source goods and services, conduct market research, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, and resolve issues.
- Implement strategic sourcing initiatives and cost-saving measures.
- Manage stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
