The Job

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of solutions for software modules for autonomous drones
• Define test plans and carry out module and system testing
• Troubleshoot and correct software issues and bugs
• Understand, integrate, extend third party solutions, libraries and algorithms

Ideal Candidate

Requirements

• Passionate about robotics, and keen to adopt new techniques and technologies in this field.
• Strong understanding of Python or C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of ROS or ROS2.
• Ability to design software architectures around ROS or ROS2.
• Able to deploy, test, and certify algorithms on ROS/ROS2
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of sensors, actuators, control technologies for robotics and automation
• Experience in robotics engineering, such as robot control systems.

Good to have

• Experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI algorithms for deep learning, reinforcement learning, and relevant libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI Gym)
• Knowledge of MAVLink protocols for drone communication
• Understanding the development of Gazebo or related simulator
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
