The Job

Key responsibilities areas:

• Communicate with customers by telephone, email or in person to provide information about products or services, take or enter orders, cancel accounts, etc.
• Responsible for the handling of quotations to customers.
• Coordinate with principal, vendors, forwarders and customers
• Provide marketing support to the sales team for a wide profile of products, ranging from Chemicals, Consumables to Instrumentation in the scientific industry.

Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies:

• Diploma in Chemical or Life Sciences or Marketing and Sales
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer service handling product and services enquiries and customer complaints
• Knowledge, skills, attitude and attributes required
• Resourceful, customer and results-oriented with strong achievement drive and passion for interacting with customers on product and service enquiries and resolving their complaints.
• Excellent planning, organizing, prioritizing and follow-up skills, paying attention to details.
• Excellent written and verbal telephone, communication, negotiation, interpersonal relationship and networking skills in interfacing with all levels in a professional and responsive manner including experience in reviewing and improving customer services
• Good knowledge of company products.
• Maintain regular contacts and communication with customers.
