The Job

Our client is looking for a Senior Finance and Admin Executive who will be part of the Operations team and will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Being responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, Fixed Assets and GL.
  • Liaising with vendors and/or customers to address financial requests and queries and handle vendor payment and payment issues.
  • Reviewing and obtaining verification of invoices from the respective department for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
  • Identifying the nature of purchase and code into the right GL into the accounting system.
  • Performing timely and accurate general ledger data entry in accounting system.
  • Performing bank reconciliation of accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Performing Month-end and Financial year-end closing activities (Balance Sheet Schedules).
  • Preparing quarterly GST reports.
  • Conducting onboarding for new employees on Finance related matters.
  • Providing day-to-day HR administrative support.
  • Performing any other ad-hoc general administrative duties.

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

  • You have diploma in Accountancy or professional qualifications like ACCA.
  • You have at least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • You have knowledge of GST and local tax regulations.
  • You have knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • You are meticulous with an eye for detail, responsible, and have a good working attitude.
  • You possess initiative and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • You are independent, meticulous and responsible.
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You are a team player with high level of integrity.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are responsible, motivated, analytical thinker & pro-active.
  • You have excellent organization skills and be able to effectively prioritize and multitask.
  • Experience with Xero, Infotech will be an added advantage.
