The Job
Social Media Executive
The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing social media channels and campaigns to sustain an engaging audience experience and to increase audience satisfaction. He or she will also be responsible for researching and analyzing social media trends and web visitor data to improve social media presence and campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate is one who has a deep interest in the sporting world or in the entertainment, digital comics industry, and is updated with the current trends and meme culture.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Manage content and oversee social media profiles of allocated accounts
- Respond effectively to customer reviews/inquiries
- Build social profiles to drive engagement, create awareness and increase brand visibility
- Research, audit and analyze social media presence, including digital advertising costs and returns
- Deep dive into social media analytics in order to gather actionable insights and generate monthly reports
- Manage the community and monitor online conversations; monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with internal marketing and content/production teams to generate assets including videos, graphics, ad copies, landing page URLs in order to create and deliver best-in-class social media and content-driven campaigns for our clients
- Manage content calendars and project-manage advertising materials
- Stay up to date on industry changes to ensure our clients are always ahead of the curve on digital and social especially in the area of sports and entertainment
Ideal Candidate
Skills Required:
- Diploma/Degree in Creative Multimedia, Film and Media Studies, Mass Communications, Sports Management or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a digital agency setting or in a similar role within the digital and social media landscape
- Good knowledge of the Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager and experienced in running ad campaigns
- Ability to deliver engaging, creative briefs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective in communicating with internal stakeholders, vendors and team members
- Intermediate level in MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google for Work products (Google Analytics, Sheets, Slides)
- Passionate sports fan or a regular consumer of sports, entertainment media, digital comic content preferred
