The Job

Responsibilities

• Develop new application logic and build scalable microservices
• Translate business requirements into high quality and maintainable code
• Write code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability and best practices
• Communicate and design microservices that communicate across HTTP and Websocket interfaces
• Write clean and maintainable code that is properly tested and reviewed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Passionate about solving challenging problems and applications that empowers others
• Possess strong critical thinking skills and able to break complex problems into simpler components
• Strong understanding of programming techniques and tools
• Knowledge of Javascript fundamentals
• Practical experience and knowledge of NodeJS, Message Queues and NoSQL databases
• Focused on improving efficiency and processes

Good to have

• Experience in administering Linux (Ubuntu) environments and deploying software in one or more relevant frameworks, such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Fluency in at least one code repository and CI/CD framework such as git, Jenkins.
