The Job

Key responsibilities areas:

• The Staff Accountant performs staff level accounting duties in support of the accounting, administrative, and financial planning duties of the business’ corporate accounting group. 
• Experience in liaising with Japan Offices
• Responsibilities include completing journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports required to complete the monthly financial close.
•  Leads the documentation of financial processes, identifying key controls, and ensuring the Company has effective internal controls over financial reporting.
•  Additional financial projects will be assigned as needed.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Full set accounts.
• Have knowledge in Tax compliance
• Experience using D365
• Experience in SAP/Oracle

Ideal Candidate

Key Competencies:

• You have at least 2 years experience within a Accountant (General Ledger) role, ideally within the IT Infrastructure industry.
• You have solid experience in a regional role ideally including experience covering Japan.
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
