The Job
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and purchasing logistics suppliers to ensure the sustainability and best possible quality/total cost ratio.
- Ability to source and purchase in a timely manner in order to satisfy project and service needs.
- Support the General Purchasing Manager for hitting the strategic target.
- Work closely with all departments to manage the purchasing demand.
- Negotiate pricing agreements of daily demand; create purchase orders and update in the in-house system.
- Make cost comparisons and provide sourcing recommendations after negotiations.
- Sourcing for new suppliers and maintaining good relationships with existing suppliers to generate better purchasing and payment conditions.
- Set up and maintain a list for suppliers, items, and purchase info records.
Ideal Candidate
- Diploma or higher in Business Administration related field or equivalent.
- Able to converse fluently in both Chinese and English in order to be able to liaise with stakeholders in the region effectively.
- Willingness to learn and receive training for up skill. Possessed a strong learning ability, curiosity and passionate towards new tasks.
- Strong team player, effective communication and fast adaption ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills. Possessed a service-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skill
- Strong supplier managements skills to established a long-term relationship with suppliers
- Have a strong interest and eager for knowledge.
