The Job

Your Responsibilities will include:

 

  • You will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, assessing, and hiring of suitable candidates across the region for our teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
  • Determine current staffing needs and work with the hiring teams to prepare and understand the job scope of vacancies to be filled. 
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
  • Advertise and source for suitable applicants for the open positions 
  • Plan, arrange and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls, reference checks, requests for documents, etc.)
  • Take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the candidate selection process. 
  • To negotiate and prepare offers for the successful candidates
  • Prepare offer letters and update and amend appointment letters
  • Update Employees with the existing job openings for the employee referral programme
  • Keep the job portals updated with the latest job openings
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, internship fairs, and internships management 
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement in the talent acquisition process
  • Process work passes applications of new hires

 

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

 

  •  Proven experience in talent acquisition for a startup or a recruitment agency in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Good knowledge of employment law, HR Policies, and best practices.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding. Candidates with experience in hiring technical roles would be at an advantage.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
  • Excellent communicator and a strategic thinker
  • BSc/BA or Diploma in Human Resource or relevant certification from iHRP or SHRM 
  • Strong interpersonal communication and interpersonal skills, tactfulness, and effective department partnering to work with multiple stakeholders and Staff. 
  • Proficient with Google Suite and multiple communication platforms like Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn etc.
  • Resilient, able to manage multiple priorities at the same time and meet tight deadlines.
