The Role
Responsibilities
- Perform bilingual (Mandarin & English) translation for marketing collaterals, content, text or article
- Translate bilingual (Mandarin & English) subtitles of video clips to text or vice versa
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling， and punctuation accuracy
- Retain the literature's essence in the translation process while maintaining the author's original intention and message
- Explore methods to increase the translation's productivity and quality
Requirements
- Excellent in both English and Mandarin communication and writing (In order to liaise with the Mandarin speaking associates)
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or equivalent
- Time-management skills in order to meet the deadline
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
- Willing to commit overtime when needed
