The Job

As a Voice Engineer you need to:

• Manage operations and maintenance services:
• Avaya UC & CC maintenance support.
• Manage Service Desk ticketing.
• Provide technical assistance and support via phone, email or onsite.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues.
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to customer inquiries and ensure appropriate resolution of the same.
• Perform preventive and on-site maintenance of the telephone systems.
• Implement Avaya Enterprise Unified Communications system.
• Coordinate and work with vendors, carriers on VOIP infrastructure and trunk services.
• Produce and maintain all necessary technical documentations.

Ideal Candidate

• Higher Nitec in Computer Engineering or relevant education in IT, Unified Communications or Engineering field. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Voice / Avaya solutions.
• Have Avaya L1 to L2 resource with hands on Avaya AURA experience.
• Have knowledge in Avaya Contact Recorder and ACRA.
• Must be able to work independently and solve the issue when it is arisen.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised and work on own initiative to complete the tasks required.
• Able to work in flexible schedule and work beyond outside of normal business hours when required.
• Require to perform standby duties.
