The Job

Our client is looking for a Workplace Safety And Health Officer who will oversee and lead the Safety team and subcontractors in the implementation of Company's safety systems at sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising closely with site operations staff and Project Managers on all safety and health issues
• Conducting & organizing internal / external WSH trainings for staffs
• Conducting incident investigations & propose corrective actions
• Reviewing OHSMS and provide recommendations for improvement of safety
• Conducting regular inspection and audits on the safety provisions
• Ensuring implementation, control and enforce of safety on site
• Conducting, reviewing & submitting Risk Assessments
• Preparing safe work procedures for site activities
• Updating project team on the latest MOM safety news
• Monitoring that all staff and workers comply with the safety rules & regulation
• Liaising with Authorities
• Performing facilities management

Ideal Candidate

• You are WSHO & Fire Safety Manager registered.
• You have minimum 5 years’ experience in local building construction projects.
• You have 3 years relevant experience working as WSHO.
• You have proficiency in Microsoft Office.
