Our client is a leading media organisation, engaging minds and enriching lives across multiple languages and platforms. With their core business in publishing in both print and digital editions, they also own other digital products and outdoor media.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

• Designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining analytics applications and solutions
• Writing clean and scalable quality code
• Driving the use of engineering best practices within the team
• Developing and refining analytics process flows, including CI/CD and automated testing for data pipelines and machine learning models.
• Advocating modern coding standards and best practices

The Profile

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related fields
• You have least 2 years of software development experience in production environments (e.g. Python, C/C++, GoLang)
• You have a strong understanding of DevOps principles and software development methodologies for Analytics/AI
• You have hands-on experience in SRE, monitoring, cloud platforms, containerisation technologies, CI/CD pipelines with integrations for automated testing, code coverage/analysis, dependency management, artifact management, SAST, SCA, DAST
• You ideally have experience in the following technologies: Monitoring/Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, AWS Cloudwatch, ELK), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD (Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline/CodeDeploy), CI/CD Integrations (SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus/IQ Server, Tosca, Fortify), Build automation (Composer, Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes)
• You possess strong knowledge of best practices in agile software development and trending digital technologies
• You have strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to think creatively and respond quickly in a highly dynamic environment is essential for the role
• You a re a team player who is self-driven and proactive in learning new technologies and skills
