Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Singapore – Communications Intern

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support content creation for SPCA’s social media channels, newsletters, magazines, etc with the aim of increasing awareness about SPCA, raising funds and supporting cause marketing partnerships.
• Draft press releases, fact sheets, appeal letters and other materials as directed.
• Support SPCA in our outreach and internal events.
• Track SPCA’s media coverage and seek opportunities with reporters.
• Help with planning and execution of logistics during media visits.

Profile: Required qualifications, skills and competencies:

• Qualified with or currently undertaking Diploma/ Degree in Marketing and/or Communications
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• “Can Do” attitude
• Passionate about animal welfare
• Strong belief in our values of promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals through education, advocacy and action.
• Experience in organising events will be an advantage
