The Finance Intern will be a key member of the regional finance team located at the APAC hub in Singapore.
The role will cover daily support to CS APAC CFO and to several strategic account teams and will offer unique regional exposure in APAC – help develop internal Sodexo network across borders and cultures.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly business reviews
- Prepare analyses required for monthly business reviews with each country and with the region
- Assist APAC CFO in preparing ad hoc reports as requested by regional and global teams
- Contributing to the key growth drivers of Strategic Accounts. Supporting the Regional Finance team in:
- Internal management monthly reporting:
- Revenue, profit, and cash reporting
- Operational performance metrics, early warning issues and corrective action plans
- External monthly reporting to Client
- Connect with Country teams to ensure adequate data collection and timely & accurate submissions of Sodexo Connections reporting
- Work with Sodexo Country Operations & Finance to drive consistency in financials reporting across APAC
- Other Standard packs to be coordinated with Client’s team.
- Invoicing
- Support Regional Finance Team to build standardized templates.
- Work with Sodexo Country Operations & Finance to drive timely invoicing (reduce unbilled revenue as much as possible)
- Debt monitoring
- Gather debtors reporting from Country Teams on a monthly basis
- Escalate Collections and DO/PO issues
- International openness and exposure
- Experience of financial modelling & strong Excel and PowerPoint skills necessary
- Process orientation
- Hands on pro-active approach with an ability to work well autonomously
- Ability to work in a collaborative way, cross-culturally
