The Role
This role will expose the candidate to the full spectrum of job functions pertaining to training (pre-training, actual training, and post-training), thus providing him/her with an opportunity to gain hands-on knowledge and experience in this area. It also provides the candidate with the opportunity to bring innovation and insight to help clients design practical solutions to address issues and problems. The candidate will be able to expand his/her professional network and build skills including:
- Administration planning and operation
- Curriculum and courseware development for various targeted learners
- Project management
- Problem-solving
- Research and analysis
- Documentation and report writing
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and logistical support for existing and new training programmes, workshops and other related activities:
- Prepare training materials and resources for training sessions
- Provide support and assistance to teaching staff for the smooth delivery of programmes
- Prepare programme evaluation reports and gather feedback to ensure the quality of training programmes
- Maintain accurate and proper training records
- Assist instructional designers on the research, curation of content and development of courseware
- Contribute to the provision of advisory services to clients:
- Gather information / data from a variety of sources
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses of processes, data, organisation structures, etc.
- Identify opportunities for improvement based on outcomes from the analyses
- Support pilot implementation
- Develop implementation plan, change / communication plan
- Prepare of documents / materials / reports
- Other tasks:
- Minute-taking
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Qualifications & Competencies
- Polytechnic diploma in any discipline, or
- Pursuing a degree in any discipline, or
- Fresh degree holder in any discipline, and
- Good communication skills, especially fluent in written and spoken English
