Our internships are paid, full time, 6 month opportunities in areas including Digital, Marketing, and Business Development, and offer an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to pursuing a career in the music business.
We are looking for self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills. Most importantly, we are looking for creative individuals with a passion for music. Our interns also need to be able to keep calm under pressure and prioritize their own workload. Music based experience, either personal or professional is great, it doesn’t have to be formal; it could be that you write your own music blog, run your own events, design websites and manage social media for local bands, or have worked at festivals or gigs.
Interns will get a chance to work and learn right at the heart of Sony Music, gain valuable experience and establish the start of their career in the industry.
As well as duties particular to the department and specific projects, some general and regular responsibilities for interns include - preparing documents for weekly / ad hoc meetings, creating social media and marketing content and collaterals, updating & managing contact databases, as well as general support for the department.
