Job Description
  • Responsible for baking or preparing all products for sale in the store.
  • Ensure that all baking temperatures, timings and procedures are followed accurately.
  • Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
  • Responsible for baking products required for sale on time for breakfast, lunch and dinner crowds.
  • Responsible for all equipments e.g. Oven, hot plate, plover, trolleys etc.
  • Inform Bakery Manager immediately of any equipments or product problems.
  • Adopt the `clean as you go’ procedure during course of work.
  • Ensure proper stocking of cold room items as well as proper stock rotation.
  • Ensure proper stocking of proofing products in the plover and setting of timing.
  • Adopt standard portion control in the preparation of products.
  • Required to clean and maintains work areas, utensils and equipments.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Bakery Manager
