Sqkii is known for our flagship #HuntTheMouse campaign that gives away cold, hard cash to players who find hidden coins. If you’ve seen Singaporeans squatting in random spots, walking around with metal detectors, or sticking their heads under tables… you’ve probably seen one of our games in action. Besides our hunts, we also create custom games that bring players on other real life adventures and virtual journeys through their mobile screens — they’re also super cool, just ask the mouse.
Right now, we’re bringing #HuntTheMouse beyond the shores of Singapore to other cities across Asia-Pacific. We’ve visited 6 other cities so far, hidden a million dollars in Singapore in 2024, and oh boy do we have big plans ahead. Big plans = bigger team, so we’re on the hunt (ha) for someone who wants to hop onto this thrilling ride.
As our Marketing Intern, you'll be invited onboard our virtual flying sleigh to spread the word of our games to millions of humans while stirring up truckloads of excitement. We're here for all the wildest, most bizarre, out-of-this-world ideas you can think of; give us something above and beyond mouse-driven flying transport, and we'll give you all that you need to bring it to life. If you're creative, bold, and can't wait to snatch the attention of every single human who sees the fruits of your labours, our doors are wide open — come on in.

What you’ll be doing:
- Ideating and executing innovative online and offline marketing campaigns that engage Sqkii's player base and beyond, including event promotions and brand awareness initiatives
- Conceptualising and creating engaging TikTok videos that align with Sqkii’s content strategy and brand guidelines
- Staying up to date with the latest social media trends, advertising best practices, and TikTok challenges to creatively incorporate them into our marketing strategies
- Deriving insights from marketing campaigns and content performance to recommend future strategies and improve reach and engagement
- Proposing and testing new initiatives to drive user acquisition in creative ways
- Communicating with the design team to develop visuals optimised for social media
- Staying up to date on the latest social media trends and advertising best practices
- Testing, iterating, and improving content based on analytics and team feedback
What you’ll need:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- A bold, visionary mindset with a huge appetite for bizarre ideas and unconventional marketing tactics.
- A strong grasp of TikTok’s platform, features, and trends, with the ability to leverage them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling abilities to create compelling narratives.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment for at least three months, though the internship period is flexible.
- Strong understanding of and/or experience with both paid and organic marketing campaigns. (Bonus)
- Knowledge of user acquisition and growth hacking strategies. (Bonus)
- Previous experience in video content creation and editing. (Bonus)
- Proficiency in graphic design and/or video editing software — e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro. (DoubleBonus)
