Job Description

Starwood Hotels & Resorts is seeking a high potential intern who is passionate and keen to establish a long term career in the hospitality industry.

The intern will work for Starwood AP Sales and Marketing Operations team based in the Singapore’s office. The intern will assist in divisional projects, such as analyzing sales data and be involved in customer loyalty projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in data collection and analysis for various sales related projects from different departments such as sales, marketing and revenue management
  •  Assist in the preparation of various reports and power point presentations
  • Coordinate, track and manage project implementation for selected sales initiatives
  • Conduct analysis, synthesize information and provide input on specific business issues/ priorities
  • Participate as an active member of the team and seek ways to cross-pollinate best practices/ suggest improvements
  • Support/ drive other ad hoc projects as needed

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the preferred fields of business administration, finance and accounting, statistics or hospitality management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, result-oriented nature
  • Familiar with MS Office programs (Strong in Excel. Basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint), Database experience (Access), also any Microframe Project Manager (MPM) experience desired
  • Team player who has the ability to work with external parties and with all levels of the organization
