Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern will work for Starwood AP Digital Marketing team based in the Singapore’s office. Marketing initiatives managed by this role include:

  • Digital marketing campaigns for Asia Pacific – mobile apps, branded sites, search, social media, display, email, messaging apps etc.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Video curator for Asia Pacific hotels
  • New Hotels digital marketing launches
  • Digital performance reporting
  • Loyalty and Partnerships

REQUIREMENTS

You should be a high-potential intern who is passionate, committed and keen to establish a career in the hospitality industry and/ or the marketing sector with the following attributes:

  • Digital native and fast-learner
  • Data driven yet creative, results oriented
  • Writes well, articulate
  • Enthusiastic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Innovative, start-up spirit
  • Takes initiative, anticipates needs, very pro-active
  • Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-sensitive
  • Excellent communication skills; Demonstrates poise, tact and diplomacy
  • Experience managing external agencies (e.g. media, creative, social and technology partners etc.)
  • Keen understanding of the digital environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (namely Excel and Powerpoint, Photoshop would be an added advantage)
