Role overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive literature review on the relationship between steward leadership and profit. This research will explore critical questions such as whether purpose-oriented organisations are more profitable in the long run and how businesses can ensure their long-term financial viability by addressing environmental or social issues.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful research that can impact business practices globally.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct independent desktop research on the relationship between steward leadership and profit.
- Review and analyse academic papers, industry reports, and other relevant literature.
- Summarise findings and present insights clearly and concisely.
- Develop case studies on organisations that achieve financial sustainability by solving an environmental or social problem.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a master’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field, with a strong proficiency in data analysis.
- Strong interest in responsible business practices and leadership.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Expected start date: 2 June 2025
