Strategic Communications Group – Marketing Communications Intern

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Intern to join our team.

The candidate will have a background in marketing/communications/arts/social sciences or equivalent. We are looking for an entry level candidate, or a student, freelancer who has excess capacity (time) to work on a project with us. 

This is a primarily remote role with fixed meetings during the tenure. 

Responsibilities

• Design: Create visually appealing designs for digital platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
• Social Media Management: Manage social media profiles, creating engaging content, responding to comments, and growing our online presence.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling content for our website, blog, and social media platforms.
• Video Editing: Edit videos using Capcut for use on the website, community platform and social media platforms. 
• Events and activations: Support events and activations (incl. weekends) with coordination, photography and videography

Qualifications

• Background in marketing/communications/arts/social sciences or equivalent courses of study
• No need for a degree or diploma, we are open to students as well
• Proficiency (or the ability to gain proficiency) in using apps such as camera, video editing tools, such as Capcut; and task management apps such as Trello, Google tools, and other content production apps 
• Good (to above average) written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks concurrently
