Our business development intern will work with our Business Lead and work directly on product development and distribution that matter to our customers.

Overview
As we are a small company, the candidate will be presented with a unique opportunity much like a startup and be able to hone in on many different skill sets while working and learning with us!
The candidate will first spend time with our customer support function and sales team to understand and learn the product. Then, he or she will also function within Product Management to combine domain subject matter, prioritising feature roadmaps and provide expertise with a keen understanding of how to address the critical business needs for our insurance agency customers. Eventually, if the candidate is converted to permanent staff, we will be working closely together in marketing the product (Product Marketing) to the 2000+ insurance intermediaries in Singapore.
Project Delivery and Management: Works closely with the development team to estimate efforts, support the team through the implementation process of solution engineering, such as training the user, gather user requirements, migration, customised solution, and provide proposals and answers queries from customers at pre-sales.
For post sales, this role works with the development and support team to ensure smooth transition to post sales implementation for Customer Success. This role also actively engages and collaborates with the product /development team to provide field product feedback.
A successful candidate must maintain in-depth product knowledge of key ICT products, possess excellent communication skills to deliver presentation, and manage customer requirements to ensure the scope of solution can be delivered.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Become an expert with our focused products, able to deliver standard and customized presentations of solutions, as well as solution demonstration to customers from business owners of SME to C-level executives in enterprise accounts.
- Provide custom solutions based on customers requirement using Success’s suite of focused products, apply industry best practice, to ensure the proposed solution can meet customer’s business objective and can be delivered by our technical delivery team.
- Partner with sales and work on presentation materials for opportunity progression.
- Work with customers and provide response to customer’s questions related to product, integration, delivery, Installation and maintenance.
- Provide proposals and sales materials development.
Requirements
- Degree Holder, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Bachelor or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, Business Technology, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent.
- Must possess excellent communication skills (in English at least), and presentation skills. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage for chinese speaking clients.
Preferred Requirements
- Must be a person with good business acumen
- Must quickly adapt with short learning curve for latest technologies, accounting principals and finance
- Experience in projects/ programs of Digital Transformation
- Have at least 1 to 3 years working experience in software /IT/technology companies.
- Understand Technical Sales/Pre-sales role and responsibility.
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting will be advantageous
- Prior experience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning software
