Summer Productions has become the first home-grown events company to be awarded the highest industrial accolade for safety standards in Singapore.
The company is accorded the bizSAFE Star award or Level 5 – the top level of a five-step programme administered by the Ministry of Manpower and the Workplace Safety & Health Council. The bizSAFE programme recognises SMEs for their efforts in managing safety and health hazards in their workplaces and work sites.
This is the latest accomplishment of Summer Productions, which has exceeded its initial function as an events-management firm to become an integrated marketing communications company.
- Summer Productions, a recipient of the 2012 Platinum Successful Entrepreneur Award given out by GRC Press Holdings, was also recently accredited with an ISO 9001 certification – an internationally-recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. This is in addition to two other ISO certifications – the ISO 18001 (for occupational health and safety) and the ISO 14001 (for environmental-management systems) – making it possibly the first Singapore-based events company to be accorded three ISO certifications.
