Job Description

Job Roles:

  1. Plan and Develop Curriculum:

    • Design comprehensive Mandarin and Chinese dialect classes, ranging from basic to advanced levels.
    • Create detailed lesson plans in Word documents and engaging presentations in PowerPoint.

  2. Script Preparation:

    • Develop clear and concise Mandarin scripts for each class to ensure effective teaching and learning.

  3. Class Recordings:

    • Record each class in various Chinese dialects, including but not limited to Hokkien, Cantonese, Teochew, Hakka, and Hainanese.
    • Important: We are specifically focusing on Teochew, Hakka, and Hainanese, so proficiency in these dialects is essential.

  4. Technology Integration:

    • Learn to upload and manage class recordings on our technology backend platform, ensuring smooth accessibility for users.

  5. User Monitoring and Support:

    • Monitor the learning and development journey of users, providing necessary support and feedback to enhance their educational experience.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Teochew, Hakka, and Hainanese is highly preferred.
  • Strong command of Mandarin.
  • Experience in creating educational content and materials.
  • Comfortable with using technology platforms for uploading and managing content.
  • Passionate about preserving cultural heritage and fostering intergenerational connections through language learning.
