SJ Strategy and Growth Department focuses on the corporate strategy formulation and strategic growth planning. The duties range from growth planning, market study and benchmarking, to M&A strategy and execution.

The Department is looking for an intern, preferably able to commit full-time for 6 months.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support a team of Corporate Strategy and M&A professionals in the Built Environment Sector
  • Conduct market research (industry trends, new market entry, etc.)
  • Conduct financial analysis for public and private companies 
  • Track and compile information on competitors
  • Prepare presentations and reports
  • Assist on M&A projects
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Business or Economics, preferably with specialisation in Finance
  • Solid knowledge in accounting and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • A self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Past internship experience in strategy/finance is a plus
  • Knowledge in M&A and financial modelling is a plus
