Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Use XERO accounting software to perform accounts/bookkeeping tasks which include invoice preparation, purchase orders, quotations, bank reconciliation, statement of accounts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, petty cash etc
  • Assist in payroll
  • Answer phone calls and attend to walk-in customers
  • Work closely with the Operations department in the management of reports and other administrative tasks such as submission of name lists
  • Understand and review existing account and office workflow procedures and recommend solutions for maximum productivity.
  • Prepare/Update flow charts or work instructions for Admin/Accounts related functions
  • Be responsible for the purchase of supplies/items for the office, store and site work
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management

Job Requirements:

  • Applicants who require work passes need not apply for this position
  • Must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Must be familiar with the use of XERO and DBS IDEAL
  • Candidates with prior relevant work experience in an SME are preferred
  • Possess analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous
  • Consistency and accuracy in adhering to SOPs and work processes
