Job Description

The Role

We are currently focused on strengthening and expand our Research and Editorial team in order to facilitate our planned growth for the coming years.

Reporting to the Head of Research or Editorial, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the research and editing activities, to enable the Research and Editorial department to meet KPI targets, as well as general administrative support to the Research & Editorial department.

You will be responsible for

·         Supporting research and editorial staff in their daily work

·         Collecting information and data from internal and external sources

·         Analyzing data based on innovative and traditional research techniques

·         Conceptualizing findings for reports and presentations

·         Preparing articles or research notes

·         Engaging bankers on the phone and face to face to arrange and conduct interviews

·         Transcribing interviews, speeches and training sessions

Skills/ Characteristics

  1. A good academic background from a reputable university

  2. Written and verbal English language skills is an important prerequisite. Fluency, particularly in another Asian language is a definite advantage

  3. Strong communication skills on the phone and in person.

  4. High sense of professionalism and cross-cultural awareness

  5. Teamwork and cross-functional ability

  6. A creative and enterprising mind

  7. Strong interest/background in finance, international business, journalism, research and/or any other fields related to The Asian Banker’s work scope.

  8. Be computer proficient and familiar with Microsoft applications.
