Overview
We are looking for a transcreation intern with interest and passion in advertising language/linguistics. In this internship, you would be coordinating with the highly experienced language team, creative team and account servicing team with their responsibilities extending from planning, scheduling, supervising and managing multiple adaptions, translation, transcreation projects. These opportunities will expose you to big brand names and their linguistics production works. Your day-to-day tasks will also enable you to learn how to liaise with vendors, how to manage project timelines and workflow to ensure on-time delivery for clients. Tag offers an excellent budding ground for fresh talents to step in the world of advertising linguistics production.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination between all relevant parties internally – account servicing, copywriters, production and externally – clients and agencies
- Take briefs from Account Servicing Team, and ensure that all information is provided to carry out the project(s) requested
- Assess copies provided by writers against the brief accordingly to your insight, highlight and supervise internal revisions as needed
- Ensure all work tasked to the various teams progress accordingly to stipulated workflow, timeline and project deadlines
- Help organize, attend (if required) and minute meetings
- Support production team (print/TV/radio/etc.) if required
- Monitor project progress and highlight any risks, challenges and additional support if applicable
- Administrative: Open job numbers, prepare estimates/obtain approvals, prepare copy decks, send POs
Requirements
- Background or educational certificates in related courses (Translation, Language. Linguistics)
- Good team player
- Able to multi-task and work to (often) quite tight timings under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely organized, meticulous and thorough
- Fast learner, flexible and, reliable
- Language skills: English (verbal and written) fluency is mandatory, native speaker of another language is an advantage.
