Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical work and provide support for office administration and finance department. 
  • Post job vacancies and advertisements on job portals. 
  • Assist with recruitment activities and other HR operational matters e.g., shortlisting of applications, arrangement of interviews, assistance with appointment process of selected candidates.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process, including preparation of new hire orientation deck, preparation of exit clearance documents etc.
  • Assist to update and maintain HR records and data in systems. 
  • Assist HR team in day-to-day administrative work such as maintaining and updating of records, preparation of documents, reports, and filing. 
  • Coordinate business meeting/appointment.
  • Perform the duties of receptionist; receives and directs telephone calls and visitors; provides information on services and operations. 
  • Order, receive, and organize materials and supplies. 
  • Any other HR/admin duties as assigned.

  • To develop a broader perspective and knowledge of HR functions in retail industry. 
  • To be able to cultivate good work values and ethics, including being responsible and positive, exercising integrity and taking initiatives. 
  • To gain skills and knowledge in performing business administrative duties. 
  • To gain exposure on different aspects of various corporate functions 
  • To be able to pick up skills on various HR and filing systems. 
  • To learn how to communicate effectively and solve problems in a timely fashion.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of HR principles and practices. 
  • Meticulous and able to perform proper filing and record keeping. 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiar with relevant computer software. 
  • Proficient in English. 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
