This is a rare opportunity to join a successful tech company, headquartered in Singapore, which is still small (20 people), but growing quickly (revenues grew 400% in 2018). You would join the core sales and marketing team, working directly with the founders, and may later have the opportunity to join the company full-time, as its marketing function develops.
Having already reached breakeven, HackerTrail is preparing to scale internationally. We’re looking for an intelligent marketing intern with good EQ and an excellent eye for detail. If successful, you will support our Head of Growth with the planning and execution of HackerTrail’s marketing strategy. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with entrepreneurs who have raised millions of dollars in venture capital, who have operated not only in Singapore, but also in the USA, UK, Europe, and elsewhere in Asia, and who have both agency and client-side marketing experience.
Role responsibilities:
- Growing and tracking the HackerTrail community through a combination of digital marketing, job advertisements, career fairs, social media, PR, stunts, etc.
- Increasing community engagement and value through events, Q&A, competitions, discussion, learning and development, and more.
- Raising awareness of HackerTrail and generating leads through press coverage, events and conferences, speaking opportunities, email campaigns, and partnerships.
- Delivery of all content marketing activity, including:
- Email newsletters and blogs
- Social media
- Press releases
- Ongoing production of all marketing collateral, including:
- All templates
- Website updates
- Product / feature brochures (e.g. technical assessments, job board, etc)
- Event materials
- Competition promotion
- Case studies
- Market maps
