Job Summary:
The Intern, Finance supports the responsibilities of the finance department. He/she is involved in work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process and handle accounts and finance transactions and functions, including receivables, payables, receipts and payments (via trust receipt, cheque, Giro, letter of credit, petty cash etc), bank reconciliations and creditors reconciliations
- Assist in monthly management accounts closing and financial reporting
- Maintain finance records such as fixed asset registers, cash book entries, bank reconciliations, debtor management (collections & invoicing), back charges, borrowings, interests, etc.
- Ensure that transactions are processed in compliance to accounting standards, GST regulations and group internal control procedures
- Prepare audit/tax schedules and other relevant accounts and finance reporting requirement
- Any other ad-hoc duties
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy, Business or other relevant fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of SAP, IT systems
- Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
