Texere Advisors is a boutique consultancy with HQ in Singapore and offices in Mumbai and Shanghai, assisting lifestyle and luxury brands develop their retail presence in new markets. We are an international team of business professionals operating as Regional office of our brands to provide commercial, marketing strategies as well operational support.
Texere Advisors is therefore looking for a young and dynamic Junior Business Development Manager to help develop and support operationally the retail network of our brands in the APAC region.
The role shall include market researches and business development activities (search of relevant distributors and clients), while supervising all operational aspects of the brands in the assigned geography, e.g. liaising with Texere regional offices (i.e. India and China), as well with suppliers and clients with regard to inventory, orders and effective sales promotions and initiatives. He/she will develop a valuable network with all stakeholders, e.g. dealers, distributors, patrons, to maximize brand exposure through marketing, trade activities and events to increase sales opportunities in coordination with appointed distributors and according to the brands' guidelines.
Candidate profile: the ideal candidate shall be proficient in English and Chinese languages, preferably graduated, have at least 2 years professional experience, excellent commercial and communication skills, be meticulous with a strong sense of ownership and problem-solving attitude. Being sociable and curious with a strong interest in lifestyle and consumers' markets is expected. Travelling will be required in Europe and the APAC region.
