Founded in 2021 by one of the Asia’s top 30 photographers with over a decade of photography experience, The Aurora Wedding brings together a team of professional wedding photographers and videographers with an edge to deliver a full spectrum of photography and videography service that invariably turns out great results as a collective effort where every image tells a story of happily ever after.
As part of our expansion plans, we’re looking for photographers / videographers who can capture the magic of real life, everyday events and weddings to join us as an associate photographer/videographer, senior associate photographer/videographer, director or even as our photography/videography assistant if you're inexperienced. We want to build the best photographer/videographer network to meet the increasing demand for wedding photography and videography.
The perks, of course, are -- you’ll be part of an elite team of wedding photographers/videographers, you get to be the photographer/videographer at an awesome wedding and your photos/videos will look great on all social media and marketing channels to help attract more clients.
For the inexperienced, we'll let you understudy during events and weddings where you'll get hands on experience on equipment and learn new photography/videography techniques. Ultimately, you'll be able to use these skills and apply anywhere.
Requirements (Inexperienced):
- Able to work with team-mate with good working attitude.
- Passionate in producing amazing photography and videography works.
- Must be able to work on weekends.
- No professional experience is required, but applicants must be familiar with taking photos and/or videos, preferably both. Having equipment and editing software (with knowledge of how to use) is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Requirements (Experienced):
- Minimum 2 yrs of experience in one or more of the following areas: Wedding, Family & Graduation, Maternity, Babies & Newborn, Corporate, Event, Lifestyle Couple / Individual and Pets.
- Strong command in Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and other digital media software.
- Experience in video editing is mandatory if you're a videographer.
- Confident in leading, guiding and posing your subject.
- Able to work with team-mate or independently with good working attitude.
- Must be able to work on weekends.
- Possess own equipment is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Starting pay for inexperienced applicant is $10-20/hr. Will increase once you're more established. For experienced applicant, please indicate your expected salary (per hour) in your application.
