We are a leading premium furniture retailer in Singapore, dedicated to curating high-quality, stylish, and designer furniture for discerning customers. We’re looking for a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to our growth in the luxury home furnishing market.
Scope of Work
As a Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, creating content, and enhancing our brand presence across digital and offline channels. Your role will include hands-on tasks to drive customer engagement and sales, with opportunities to learn and contribute creatively. Key responsibilities include:
Social Media Management (30%)
- Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
- Develop visually appealing posts (graphics, reels, stories) aligned with our premium brand aesthetic, using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Monitor social media performance, respond to comments/messages, and engage with followers to build community.
- Research trends and competitors to propose fresh content ideas.
Content Creation & Copywriting (25%)
- Write compelling copy for marketing materials, including website updates, email newsletters, blog posts, and product descriptions.
- Support the creation of lifestyle-focused content showcasing our furniture in aspirational settings (e.g., blog articles, customer stories).
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
Campaign Support (20%)
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including seasonal promotions, product launches, and showroom events.
- Coordinate with external partners (e.g., influencers, photographers, or media agencies) to ensure smooth campaign delivery.
- Track campaign performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversions) and compile reports using tools like Google Analytics or social media insights.
Customer & Market Research (15%)
- Conduct research on customer preferences, market trends, and competitor strategies in the premium furniture industry.
- Support the team in gathering customer feedback through surveys or showroom interactions to inform marketing strategies.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for targeting new customer segments or improving brand positioning.
Administrative & Ad-Hoc Tasks (10%)
- Provide logistical support for marketing events, such as showroom openings or pop-up displays.
- Update marketing databases, CRM systems, or product catalogs as needed.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to enhance brand visibility and customer experience.
We’re seeking a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Here’s what we expect from you:
Skills & Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a diploma or degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) and content creation for social media.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional proficiency in Mandarin or Malay is an advantage to engage diverse customers.
- Keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of luxury branding.

- Ability to work hybrid (2–3 days in-office for events or shoots, remainder remote).
- Willingness to occasionally support evening/weekend events (e.g., showroom launches).
