About the role
The freelance writer will be writing for the ChopeDeals team, a fast-growing, e-commerce business unit that provides dining deals to diners at over 500 top restaurants in Singapore.
The writer should have a flair and passion for writing, with an added bonus if he/she is interested in food and lifestyle topics. The writer will mainly be producing and developing original and engaging content for the ChopeDeals blog, as well as other editorial tasks if required.
Tasks/ Responsibilities
- Pitch weekly (and write) timely and interesting articles under various categories for the ChopeDeals blog
- Create eye-catching headlines and captions for articles
- Attend events and/or conduct interviews if needed
Requirements
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proficient in Google suite and/or Microsoft office
- Good grasp of latest trends and able to develop content
- Creative and flexible work style
- Independent, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Interest and knowledge of Singapore’s food scene is a plus
