Job Description
Summary of Position 

The Marshal has one of the most important jobs at Katapult.  The primary duty will be to oversee the safe operation of the Katapult trampoline arena, enforcing the safety rules while simultaneously providing friendly and responsive customer service to create a safe and enjoyable experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Maintain constant and alert surveillance of patrons in the facility: act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests 
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in the event of emergency 
  • Communicate court rules to all participants clearly and effectively 
  • Ensure that all jumpers are following rules 
  • Maintain safety of ALL patrons 
  • Maintain positive relations and rapport with patrons, but be firm and command respect
  • Assist with court inspections
  • Performs various maintenance duties as directed
  • Help maintain a clean and safe facility 
  • Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service 
  • Resolve customer complaints and problems amongst patrons 
  • Complete opening and closing duties 
  • Processing sale of jump tickets, merchandise, membership and other retail items to customers
  • Handle and enforce waiver policies
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Manager, management or needed by the business
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years of age or older 
  • Willingness to be team player and hard worker 
  • Prior work experience in customer service preferred 
  • Availability to work shifts for nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and effectively 
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems and conflicts 
  • Ability to speak in front of groups 
  • Ability to project voice and be heard in a loud environment 
  • Enjoy working with kids of all ages 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
