Job Description
SCOPE FOR SOCIAL MEDIA AND ADMIN INTERNSHIP (MINIMUM 4 MONTHS COMMITMENT)

1. SOCIAL MEDIA
The student will work closely with our Marketing Manager on the following:
• Write unique content and maintain daily activity and posting schedules for our social media sites.
• Contribute to creative discussions with the team to conceptualise social media campaigns for the company
• Photograph and video-edit our backstage activities to create our internal marketing collateral materials.
• Produce publicity and marketing materials and assist with PR efforts for the company

2. ADMIN AND EVENTS
The student will report directly to the General Manager for the following duties:
• Maintain and assist with all general filings/correspondences and payment transfers to event manpower
• Perform clerical duties such as receiving and sorting mails, handle telephones enquiries, order of pantry supplies, stationeries and attend to visiting clients etc
• Assist with our events onsite by supervising event helpers in designated areas.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as and when required

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Independent and creative.
2. Must possess a solid understanding of the social media universe, including YouTube, Twitter, wikis, blogs, memes and forums.
3. Strong written communication skills are necessary, with an emphasis on grammar/spelling excellence.
4. Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Powerpoint or video-editing software is a must.
5. Experience with HTML, Flash, Facebook App knowledge are bonuses.
6. Willing to work occasional weekends for onsite event co-ordination (Overtime rates apply)

REIMBURSEMENT:
1. $600 monthly allowance
2. $50 mobile allowance
3. Taxi reimbursements for onsite event co-ordination
