The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) was formally established on July 1966 as the national society of engineers in Singapore. As the premier engineering Institution in Singapore, IES is often called upon by the Government to provide feedback on professional engineering matters. With members hailing from all engineering disciplines and the private, public and academic sector, IES is well represented in the engineering domain. The Institution also represents Singapore in the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WFEO), ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) and the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) in promoting goodwill and fellowship among all engineers in the region and internationally.
- Organise committee meetings, coordinate presentation slides and minutes of meetings, track and alert on action items
- Support committee’s key industry meeting appointments when necessary
- Maintain project time schedule for planning, implementation and follow-up for events and activities
- Take charge of project related sub-activities as assigned
- Coordinate event logistics, publicity, including public relations, advertising and collateral material design, production and distribution when instructed
- Manage event registration and payment
- Supervise and coordinate with event contractors
- Support the development and implementation of publicity materials & website
- Actively participate in event related committees as necessary and appropriate
