We are hiring a 3D artist intern to assist one of our portfolio game studios in the development of their game, "Stagehands!"

Responsibilities:
- Create the various elements required for the production of the game including textures and materials;
- Ensure optimal game performance by understanding and respecting the technical guidelines and optimizing the artistic elements, while achieving the desired visual quality;
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong grasp of Autodesk's Maya software.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop.
- Portfolio demonstrates skills in the creation of 3D models, textures, UV unwrapping, and lighting, especially in a toon style.
- Understanding PBR techniques (physically based rendering) is valuable.
- Knowledge of Substance Painter/Designer is an asset.
- Traditional drawing is an asset.
- Degree or training in 2D animation / or recognized 3D Art education (in progress or completed) is an asset.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate, orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
- Passion for video games.
